McWeadon engages in dialog on local, national, and global educational issues. During this process we explore institutions offerings to determine whether they are meeting the needs of the learners. Passionate and experienced individuals in the field emerge who want to provide learning experiences that follow the McWeadon Framework.
McWeadon’s model allows the instructor to teach courses they are passionate about and that are mutually beneficial for them and the students. This is a good thing for McWeadon students because they are able to realize mentors that are engaged and actively involved with the learning process.
Our instructors are so committed to the learner that they work around the learners schedule facilitating online content, face-to-face classes or even “house-calls” whenever possible; meeting you at work, home, or cafe providing greater flexibility and convenience for busy adult learners. McWeadon instructors hold advanced degrees as well as are professionals in their fields. This provides a rich learning experience providing a bridge between theory and practice.

Dr. Mauri Collins earned her Ed. D. from The Pennsylvania State University, with major in Adult Education, a minor in Instructional Systems, and a certificate in the Study of Distance Education, studying with Dr. Michael Moore. She also earned a BA and an MA in Sociology, from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. University of Nevada Las Vegas, 1987. The title of her dissertation is “Invisible adult educators: Online public discussion group moderators’perceptions of their roles task and responsibilities.” Dr. Marie (Mauri) Collins has 15 years experience in faculty development and support, and is currently serving as an Instructional Designer and online faculty development specialist at the Office of Distance Education, University of Nevada Las Vegas. In this capacity Dr. Collins works with faculty preparing to teach online.
Dr. David Ealy

Dr. Ealy holds a Doctor of Education in Technology Education from West Virginia University, a Master’s degree in Safety Management from West Virginia University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Wheeling Jesuit University. Dr. Ealy has built an open-source SCORM-certified learning management system (LMS) that was purchased by DaimlerChrsyler and lead the design, development and implementation effort of an enterprise-level SCORM-conformant learning content management (LCMS) which is currently being used at DaimlerChrysler. Dr. Ealy is currently working for his own company, David Ealy Technologies, and has recently worked on training and/or elearning projects for IBM, VW, Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC), The Department of Homeland Security, Center for Medicaid and Medicare Services, Department of State and the U.S. Courts. Dr. Khan holds a Ph.D. in Instructional Systems Technology and Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry from Indiana University, Bloomington. Dr. Khan served as the founder of the Educational Technology Leadership program at The George Washington University (GWU) and the Educational Technology graduate program at the University of Texas at Brownsville (UTB). He also served as an instructional developer and evaluation specialist for the Indiana University (IU) School of Medicine. Professor Khan taught instructional technology courses at GWU, UTB and IU. He is an internationally recognized authority on e-learning and educational technology.

Jacqueline Klosek is an attorney in New York, where she focuses on advising clients on various issues related to data privacy and security. She is also an author. Her most recent book is The Right to Know: Your Guide to Using and Defending Freedom of Information Law in the United States. Her previous books include: War on Privacy (2003); Legal Guide to eBusiness and Data Privacy in the Information Age, Jacqueline (along with James R. Silkenat and Jeffrey M. Aresty) is also an editor of the recently released 3rd edition of the ABA Guide to International Business Negotiations. She is currently working on her fifth book. Klosek is a Certified Information Privacy Professional. She has been recognized for her professional expertise. In 2004, Ms. Klosek received NJBiz magazine’s “40 Under 40” award. She was also the recipient of the Telford-Taylor Fellowship in Public International Law.

Christian Hurst is the communication design lead at RG consulting. He has over 10 years of experience providing industry leading solutions as a communication designer and educator. Specializing in the development of unique brand identities, communication materials, interactive media applications, proposals, and presentations, Christian is experienced in the coordination of all aspects of design production from concept to development to production and printing. He has developed design methodologies that help to move a design team from the research and definition phase through roll out and convergence.
Beginning his career and education as a freelance designer in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, Christian’s work lead him to the Baltimore, Washington area where his clients have included prominent government and commercial clients. Career highlights include winning graphics that helped bring in millions of dollars in revenue.

Dr. Andrea Henne

Andrea Henne is the Dean of Online and Distributed Learning at the San Diego Community College District, which currently enrolls over 10,000 students each semester in online courses (http://www.sdccdonline.net). Dr. Henne has extensive experience at the community college and university levels in creating accessible online learning environments that meet best practices in technology-based teaching, faculty development, student learning outcomes, and quality standards. Prior to working for the San Diego Community College District, Dr. Henne was the Systemwide Director of Distributed Learning at Alliant International University, developing and managing online, video-conferenced web-conferenced, and blended courses and faculty development across six California campuses, Mexico City and Japan. She has been a full-time instructor of Computer Business Technology at Los Angeles City College and San Diego Mesa College and an online instructor in Instructional Technology at National University and in Economics as well as Critical Thinking and Problem Solving at DeVry Online. Theodore Ransaw

Mr. Ransaw is a cultural anthropologist with a teaching background in the Clark County School District-Las Vegas, the College of Southern Nevada and the University of Nevada Las Vegas. His research streams are in culture, gender and religion and their influence on education with a special emphasis on symbolic interaction. He has a two-part career goal, to teach effectively and to contribute significant and meaningful scholarship to the academy. His pedagogical goals are to nurture, challenge and inspire. Dr. Dana Cleghorn

Dr. Cleghorn holds a Ph.D. in elementary education with a focus in mathematics from the University of Alabama, a master’s degree in special education from Syracuse University, and a bachelor’s degree in special education from the University of North Alabama. After eleven years as an elementary and special education teacher, she has taught in teacher education programs at Alabama A&M University and Georgia Southern University. She has published a number of articles related to K-12 classroom instruction, as well as the mathematics chapter in a test preparation book for the Georgia Assessment for the Certification of Educators. She has provided a great deal of professional development for classroom teachers on a number of topics, and enjoys working collaboratively with them to increase the learning for K-12 students.
Dr. John Griffin

John Griffin earned his M.S. in Mass Communications and his Doctorate in Educational Psychology from Oklahoma State University, with a focus on instructional design and communications. His previous work has included broadcast engineering, medical media/distance learning, and online communities. His interests are in making content and programs motivating and accessible for every student through application of visual and instructional design techniques. His research interests include section 508 and disabilities, culture, gender, and the myriad of other social and personal factors that impact technology use and usability. He is involved in Toastmasters International where he enjoys mentoring international students in their speaking and presentation skills.
Michele Watson

Ms. Watson holds a Masters in Adult Education and Distance Education (On-Line). Her career is enriched by 15 plus years and an adult educator of implementing practicum related training in corporate and government educational efforts. Sensitive to global diversity in learning. An advocate of Andragogy and the Instructional Systems Design (ISD) methodology (e.g., ADDIE, SAT: commonly used for corporate, government and military professionals). Use ISD in curriculum development, programs, web development products (to enhance electronic courses), and the development of graduate level courses for the Joint Military Intelligence College in DC. She loves technology, techie by assimilation, and continues to apply and explore new technology to where it best fits the targeted audience. She uses PC, MAC and Open Source technology. As a long time judge for Brandon-Hall Research and its ‘Excellence in Learning Awards’ program, she continues to stay on top of innovative learning tools and methodology, including Second Life. When she slows down, she will pursue her doctorate. Until then, believes learning should be fun, and not just another work product.

Dr. Steve Mitchell

Dr. Steve Mitchell holds a Doctor of Education in Curriculum and Instruction and a Master’s degree in Instructional Technology from The University of Akron, and Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Cleveland State University. Dr. Mitchell has taught on-ground, hybrid, Internet, and distance learning courses in both graduate educational programs and undergraduate developmental mathematics. Faisal Quader is the President and co-founder of Technuf, LLC specialized in Cybersecurity architecture, design and implementation for large federal government agencies in the U.S. He is also driving the Public Safety IOT initiatives in mobile platform for fortune 50 companies in the U.S. Technuf also recently implemented the SIM Registration through Biometric Process for Grameen Phone with Sheba Technologies Limited in Bangladesh. Mr. Faisal Quader holds a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin and a Master’s in Computer Science and Engineering from Johns Hopkins University. He is currently finishing his doctoral study in Cybersecurity and Big Data Analytics at the University of Maryland. He was a Merit Scholar at the University of Wisconsin and Johns Hopkins University. His academic interests are in Cybersecurity, data mining, data warehousing, Human-Computer Interaction and R&D process optimization. Faisal has numerous publications on cybersecurity and data mining. Faisal is also teaching and giving lectures to the graduate students at the University of Maryland. He spent more than twenty years with GE and Lockheed Martin prior to joining TISTA Science & Technology Corporation and Technuf, LLC. During his tenure at GE, he oversaw an off-shore development center, re-engineered multiple business processes for cost optimization and improved efficiency and provided direction to new product lines. As a senior leader, he was responsible for growing the R&D division of GE from ten to six hundred employees over a span of seven years. Faisal managed complex and mission critical projects using leading edge technologies, in-house developed standards and high performance teams. He brings to the Technuf team substantial knowledge and experience in the areas of distributed management and development, e-commerce, Data Mining, Cybersecurity, data center virtualization, cloud computing, HCI and R&D. Faisal has worked closely with both civilian and defense organizations. He has supported the agencies in defining cyber security countermeasures to ensure the protection of federal assets. He participates in IEEE and ACM. He is a recipient of several academic and industry awards and certified in multiple standards including Six Sigma. Faisal is passionate about serving his community and has served as the chair of several non-profit organizations including professional engineering bodies as well as Entrepreneurial association. Dr. Wendy C. Hamblet

Dr. Wendy C. Hamblet is a Canadian philosopher and is a specialist in victimology, the phenomenology of perpetration, genocide, and the psychology of radical violence. She is a credentialed Counselor and Philosophical Counselor, and a practitioner in Conflict Transformation, having studied with Johan Galtung, the world’s foremost authority on Conflict Transformation. Hamblet is the author of several books including The Sacred Monstrous: A Reflection on Violence in Human Communities (2004); Savage Constructions: The Myth of African Savagery (2008); and The Lesser Good: The Problem of Justice in Plato and Levinas (2008). Hamblet has also co-authored and edited two anthological collections of essays, and has authored dozens of chapters in books and articles in prestigious international peer-reviewed journals. Hamblet holds the rank of Associate Professor at the North Carolina A&T State University, and also serves in private practice in Counseling, Mediation, and Conflict Transformation.
Radwan Chowdhury

Mr. Radwan Chowdhury served as the CEO of McWeadon Education. Prior to joining McWeadon, he was the founder and CEO of UDiON Foundation a global non-profit organization “Dedicated to Educate” and AA Global Solutions, a leading consulting firm. Radwan is an entrepreneur and seasoned executive with nearly 15 years of Sr. Management and consulting experience, worked with The United State Navy and the United State Treasury Department and helped Fortune 500 companies grow their portfolio. He has authored 10 text books 2 of them being thought in a private school in Bangladesh, in-addition he has authored a poetry book and published over 25 articles. Radwan has received widespread recognition, awards and honors for his work, Including the Life Time Service Award “Call to Service” by President Barak Obama in 2011, Diversity and Inclusion Award by El-Beth Development Center, he was listed as Most Influential Asian American in NE FL by Indo-US Chamber of Commerce, he was also the nominee of 2015 OneJax Humanitarian Award. Moreover, Radwan consistently received academic excellence awards and commendations for his diverse business background. Radwan believes “Education is the best way to end the cycle of poverty and the exploitation of children”. He has spoken about those issues in many national and international conferences and participated in many roundtable discussions.
