MCWEADON’S TEACHING PHILOSOPHY

McWeadon’s teaching philosophy is founded on the firm belief that participants learn best when actively engaged in learning activities that are relevant to their current and future academic, personal, and professional goals.

McWeadon’s instructors are your guides engaging in a facilitator consultant role providing you resources and guidance as you proceed through your coursework.  The learning experience is an active one where both instructors and participants are engaged in the learning process through complex problem-solving.  Instructors facilitate participant experiences through expert questioning, providing opportunities for viewing topics from multiple perspectives, emphasizing salient points, analyzing and synthesize information so that the participant is able to achieve the intended goals in the course.

MCWEADON FEEDBACK POLICY

McWeadon’s faculty are available to work with you on an on-going basis providing constructive feedback for improvement as you progress through all course assignments.  It is your responsibility to seek this constructive feedback on your work.  For non-graded communication the faculty are expected to respond within 48 hours.  For graded communication the faculty are expected to provide you feedback and a grade within five working days of receipt.  These times may change if unexpected circumstances arise.
